Krishna Persad & Associates (KPA)

Discussions with Petrotrin ongoing for lease renewal.

bpTT
3 rigs in operation, Amherstia - completed drilling A-12, RIH on A-13 t. Mahogany - Currently under-reaming B-5. Immortelle - A-22 completed. Rig undergoing upgrade before moving to Kapok.

Production dropped because of leaks in pipelines to shore and loading line necessitated shutting in wells.

Unused casing from Catfish 1 is for sale.

British Gas

Block 6b/d - seismic being reprocessed(merge & prestack time migration). Dolphin Deep / Starfish - development plan approved by MOE. To come onstream in 2004.

NCMA
Currently cleaning out C2 ST1, before attempting to run casing again.
Skidded to H-6 drilled and cemented casing in objective. Will return to this well and drill horizontal section, then return to drill slim hole in C2 ST1.
Well costs almost double that planned.
Hole instability problems solved by drilling slower, thus allowing better hole cleaning.
Xora prospect will probably be drilled after C-2.

BG is looking for 3D seismic trades pending partner approvals.

BHP Billiton

Block 2(c) - BHP/Billiton - 50%, Talisman - 50%

nothing new to report.


Angostura Development
Development plan approved by MOE, first oil by 2004. CEC's for platform and onshore facilities approved by EMA.
Exploration well, Howler?, planned for April 2003, in the southern retained area.

Block 3(a) Exploration
The two commitment wells will be drilled in April-May.
3D survey 75% complete, Plan to acquire the remainder later in the year.

Damus Oil Limited

Trinidad Exploration & Development

No Information.

Venture
Preparing CEC for Tabaquite seismic (80 100line km.) programme.
Development - Possible 5-well drilling project for Brighton in Q4 2003

Primera

No drilling planned for this year in onshore leases. Due to inability to get CEC's.
Priority will be given to East Brighton Farmout and U(b) block.
Discussions for conversion to over-riding royalty in East Brighton ongoing. Hope to drill 6 wells and re-complete 2 exploration wells. Looking at options to produce oil to shore.

Shell

Pepper Sauce 1. Spuddded and drilled to 2,806 m. Status tight hole.

Liszt 1 Co-ordinates 100 43' 24" N 590 30' 04"W. Drilled to 2,463 m. Status - P&A dry.

Vermilion

Saunders 1 drilled to 9,337' , presently logging. Unhappy with rig performance
Baraka 1, Location preparation complete, awaiting rig.
Submitted CEC for 75km 2 seismic acquisition.
Extended production testing of Carapal Ridge 1,continues last rate 525 bcpd and 21.95 mmcfd.


Lease Operators Limited

PS 417XXst F90 bopd on casing.
PS 1469 drilled to 4,000', perforated
PS 1470 drilling at 4,176.

Will drill replacements for PS 76 and 383. Followed by a 10 well program in Grande Ravine.

CHEVRON-TEXACO

No contract signed with Venezuela for Block 2.

Tracmac

Tyler Study to identify drilling candidatesto be completed in April.
Drilling expected to commence June 1st 2003.
Still plan to drill a 7,000' well to the Cretaceous in Moruga West, together 5 Herrera development wells

TALISMAN

Got terms of reference from EMA for EIA in Nariva Swamp. Have started public consultations. Have indicated that no acquisition will take place in the Bush Bush area or the wetlands (<20km).
600 people currently employed and will rise to 1000 once acquisition starts.
Currently 71% of the lines have been cut, 40% surveyed and 30% of shot holes drilled.



MOE

The competitive bid round is still on schedule for 30th. April - 16th. September, will get Minister's approval soon.
