British Gas
Nine (9) wells are planned on the Hibiscus Platform. Utilising Sundowner 801 Rig. Drilling
operations has commenced.
Have completed the batch driving/drilling of conductors. Changing out generators prior to batch drilling of 23''
hole section.

Damus Oil Limited
Re-activations in progress of additional leased wells from Petrotrin.
Three (3) wells (PTD 3,500' each) are planned in the San Francique Field in April/May 2002.
Petrotrin (E&P SBU) has no internal drilling
activity at this time but is carded to resume drilling in April using Petrotrin Rig 1. A 12 well programme is planned
with 6 wells each in Parrylands and Forest Reserve.
Trinidad Exploration & Development
Seismic survey (155 km2 ) completed 2001 September 14. Processing of data expected to be
completed end January 2002.
Interpretation of "Quick Look" volume is on-going.
Exploration drilling activity is expected to commence 2002 May 15 and two (2) wells are planned. 40 days wells.
Negotiation with respect to rig selection in progress.
Baseline Survey and EIA Study in progress.
Bonasse Shallow Development Drilling Program is currently being evaluated.
Venture
Brighton Marine/Guapo Bay:
Preparing to drill exploration well in Guapo Bay Marine acreage to a Nariva target in
March 2002.
Point Ligoure:
Cliffs - RBF 110R is expected to resume Development Drilling in mid-February.
ALS 15XX (TD 8,517') - Well failed to produce due to mechanical limitations of PCP pumps. Closed in - awaiting
re-perforation.
WD-13/WD-14 - Planning a drilling campaign beginning 2002 April.
Primera
Land drilling activity to resume in April / May 2002. A ten (10) well program is planned
in the San Francique, Fyzabad and Palo Seco Fields.
Shell
Two commitment wells outstanding, target date tentatively 3rd quarter / 4th quarter 2002.
Have applied to the MOE for a one (1) year extension on contract from end-February. PSC extension is on a promising
tract.
Re-processing of the 3D data set has started.
Vintage Petroleum
Presently seeking a gas market.
Production testing of recently drilled wells have been completed.
Installation of surface facilities is approx. 80% complete.
Lease Operators Limited
Have commenced EIA's in WD-1, PS-1 and WD-5/6 Blocks. Environmental Resources Ltd. has
been contracted to perform EIA work.
To resume drilling in 4th quarter.
Re-processing 3D seismic in Quarry Block.
BHP Billiton
No new info

Block 23(a) and 23(b) No longer interested in block. MOE informed accordingly.
Block 3(a) Technical discussions well underway and can be finalized by end-March.
EOG
Awaiting approval of a drilling permit to the MOE for the Exploration well Parula 1 (PTD
17,000') located mid-way between the Pelican and Oilbird Fields.
SECC Block
Presently fast-tracking development of the Oilbird Field scheduled for mid-2003
Modified U(a) Block
Osprey Field Development: Platform Jacket and Deck successfully installed over OA-1 and OA-2 on
2001 September 20. OA-1 and OA-2 tied back to Osprey Platform and completions in progress. 6'' gas line to Pelican
Platform and 16'' condensate pipeline to Teak/Poui tie in point 100% complete.
Exxon
Two wells are planned. First well will be the Callicore 1 (Block 25(b) followed by the
Heliconius 1 in Block 26. The Glomar Jack Ryan to return to Trinidad in late - February 2002 to resume drilling
operations.
Tracmac has no drilling activity at this time.
MOE
Ultra Deep Blocks
Bids have been received by fifteen (15) seismic contractors for the proposed 9,100 km 2D seismic survey.
Bids to be evaluated within one week of bid closing.
Other Blocks
Block 1A, 1B and 3B which were not awarded in the 2002 Bid Round are to be considered for re-bidding.
Conoco/TFA are currently drilling a well south
of Barbados in 7000 ff of water to a depth of 10,000 ft below the mudline. Well was abandoned as a dry hole.
