Members who have paid their annual membership dues to the Society would have already received the new membership
cards. The new card is a gold-coloured, embossed, vinyl card bearing the member's name, number and card expiry
date. The Subcommittee dealing with Publicity and Public Relations has been given a special mandate to seek out
sales and service discounts at reputable business places. GSTT members in good financial standing will soon be
able to avail themselves of these bonuses by presenting their membership card when they patronise these establishments.
I n order to tailor this effort to meet the needs of our membership, a Survey has been developed to poll their
views (Page 27 of this Newsletter). Members who live and work in Trinidad and Tobago are asked to complete the
questionnaire and send it in. The results are confidential and members names are not required. The compilation
of responses will be used as a database in discussions with business places, which will be selected on the basis
of member interest. Please answer all questions to ensure that your views are represented and send the completed
form to Eric A. Williams.
M embers who receive correspondence from the executive from mid-December 1992 will be surprised to see that the
letterhead has been re-designed. The new letterhead bears a contact address for the GSTT and a list of the executive
members. This change was introduced to make it easier for members as well as outside agencies to identify our correspondence
and to keep in touch with key persons in the organization in any year. Our official address remains P.O. Box 3524,
LaRomain, Trinidad, although correspondence can still be sent to the Secretary, c/o TRINTOC, P-a-P.
